At sixteen years of age, 16 Isabella Fimbres is already focused in succeeding in school as well as in her personal life. From a young age, her parents instilled in her to always be proud of who she is and to work hard for what she wants with humility. With her parents, two sisters and brother by her side, Isabella knows that they are the source of her strength and support.
Born in San Diego but native to Tijuana, she feels really lucky to live in a bi-national region where she it is like living in two countries at the same time. “There is so much to do in San Diego and in Tijuana, you never get bored. Also the crossing of two cultures allows me to constantly learn,” she comments to Giving Back Magazine. Currently, she is a high school student in San Diego where her goal is to major in photography. Passionate about creativity, she enjoys seeing beyond what the eye can see. Just as her future motivates her, she also enjoys giving back. “I help by visiting the children with cancer at the General Hospital in Tijuana as well as helping in any other way I can a benefit.” Recently, she was crowned the Debutante Queen of the Club Campestre in Tijuana where the experience has created unforgettable memories and much personal growth.
There is no doubt that even at a young age Isabella is embarking on her life with the dedication and humility that will take her very far.
