An Evening of Changing Lives
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego (BGCGSD) invites you to Change Lives and invest in the future of San Diego’s youth with their signature fundraising event, An Evening of Changing Lives. Each year nearly 700 Club supporters and community members gather for an amazing night that raises critical funds to support the Club’s programs and mission to provide San Diego children with a positive, fun and safe environment.
An Evening of Changing Lives will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the beautiful Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina outdoor Marina Terrace. Enjoy a spectacular night of live entertainment and community outreach along San Diego’s waterfront and historic Gaslamp Quarter.
The fun begins at 6:00 PM with incredible silent and live auction items ranging from Padres memorabilia to vacationing on Hawaii’s beautiful island of Maui. Other auction items include a trip to the illustrious Willamette Valley for exclusive dining experiences and private wine tasting tours. With a record of sold-out auction success, registered guests will receive exclusive access to bid on the once in a lifetime items beginning two weeks prior to the event.
“It is all about the kids!” said Jeff Nadeau, BGCGSD’s Event Chair. “It is a great feeling to know all of our hard work directly translates into life changing moments for the kids we serve.” Ticket price includes cocktails, a three-course dinner and a live performance featuring Journey former lead vocalist of Journey, Steve Augeri. Come dance the night away with legendary Classic Rock hits such as “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Wheel in the Sky,” and “Any Way You Want It.”
For over 80 years, BGCGSD has provided youth with a safe and nurturing environment through a wide variety of enrichment programs, activities and services. Their mission is to inspire and enable youth to achieve academic success, build good character and responsible citizenship, and make healthy lifestyle choices.

El Club de Niños y Niñas de San Diego (BGCGSD por sus siglas en inglés) los invita a participar de An Evening of Changing Lives, un evento para invertir en los jóvenes de San Diego y cambiar sus vidas. Cada año, casi 700 personas se reúnen durante una increíble velada para apoyarlos recaudando importantes fondos para los programas del Club y su misión: la de brindar a los jóvenes de San Diego un ambiente positivo, divertido y seguro donde progresar.
El sábado 25 de septiembre de 2021, en la hermosa Marriot Marquis San Diego Marina, sobre su terraza al aire libre, la Marina Terrace, se llevará a cabo An Evening of Changing Lives. Disfruten del espectacular entretenimiento nocturno en vivo y encuentro comunitario sobre la costanera de San Diego en el histórico Gaslamp Quarter.
La diversión comienza a las 6:00 PM con una increíble subasta silenciosa que incluye importantes artículos, desde suvenires de Los Padres a paquetes de vacaciones en la hermosa isla de Maui en Hawái. Entre los sorteos también hay viajes a Williamette Valley para disfrutar de una exclusiva cena y cata de vinos. Con un récord de ventas en las subastas, los invitados que estén inscriptos van a tener acceso exclusivo durante las dos semanas previas al evento para ofertar por artículos únicos.
