Freedom Dogs Golf Tournament
Head out on the green on March 1st for the 8th Annual Freedom Dogs Golf Tournament at Fairbanks Ranch Country Club. Enjoy a COVID-safe day of golfing and lunch, while contributing to a good cause. The tournament helps support Freedom Dogs’ programs which connects wounded service members with service dogs.

Spring has sprung with cherry blossom season arriving at the Japanese Friendship Garden at Balboa Park. During the month of March, you can bask in the beauty of cherry blossoms between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm. If you cannot make it in person, there will also be virtual opportunities.

Read Across America Book Drive
45% of San Diego County’s 3rd graders are not reading at grade level. United Way of San Diego County wants to change that! Join the annual Read Across America celebration by participating in a month-long book drive. The goal is to collect 1,500 books for students in our community!
