Drive-In Concert
Feeding San Diego was the charity beneficiary of the Feed the Need Drive-in Concert, the first concert in California since the March shelter-in-place orders. The landmark event took place in a parking lot downtown where guests drove in, parked and enjoyed the show from their own vehicles. The event organized by Westward Entertainment raised over $50,000 and included sunset performances by Grammy-award winning Switchfoot, a San Diego band and crowd favorite. Guests had their own front row seats, and many brought their own meals to enjoy with the family making it a memorable event hopefully to be repeated soon!
El primer concierto realizado en California desde la cuarentena que comenzó en marzo fue Feed the Need Drive-in y tuvo como beneficiario a Feeding San Diego. El evento tuvo lugar en un estacionamiento del centro de la ciudad, los invitados entraban en auto, estacionaban y disfrutaban del show desde sus vehículos. El concierto organizado por Westward Entertainment, recaudó más de $ 50,000 con distintas presentaciones al atardecer entre las cuales estuvo Switchfoot, una banda de San Diego ganadora del Grammy y favorita de multitudes. Los presentes tenían sus propias primeras filas, muchos trajeron comida que disfrutaron en familia, haciendo de este festejo algo memorable y digno de repetir.
