Celebration of Life
Richard James Esgate passed away following a valiant battle with cancer. He was well respected as a community leader and philanthropist and played a key role as a board member at the USO, Mainly Mozart, and The Old Globe; he lent his professional expertise and was a generous supporter to many non-profits. A celebration of life was recently held for friends to reminisce and celebrate him and in lieu of flowers, his widow Arlene Esgate requested that memorial donations be made to Patrons of the Prado.
Luego de una valiente lucha contra el cáncer, Richard James Esgate dejó este mundo. Muy respetado por su liderazgo en la comunidad y su generosidad como filántropo, ocupó un rol fundamental como miembro de la comisión de USO Mainly Mozart y en The Old Globe, brindando su experiencia profesional a muchas organizaciones sin fines de lucro. Recientemente se realizó una ceremonia para sus amigos donde se celebró su vida y se compartieron gratos recuerdos y en vez de flores, su viuda Arlene Esgate solicitó que se realicen donaciones a Patrons of the Prado.
