Jewish Federation of San Diego county hosted the Yom HaShoah Commemoration event.

The community came together to remember the victims of the Holocaust, honor the survivors and teach future generations.In partnership with ADL, Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Family Service, Lawrence Family JCC and San Diego Rabbinical Association guests heard keynote speaker, Heather Maio-Smith, Managing Director at Conscience Display. A symbolic candle lighting ceremony was an emotional symbol of the resilience and strength of the Jewish community.

 

Jewish Federation del condado de San Diego llevó a cabo su evento conmemorativoYomHaShoah. La comunidad se reunió para recordar a las víctimas del Holocausto, rendir un homenaje a los sobrevivientes y enseñar a las futuras generaciones. En asociación con ADL, Jewish Community Foundation, JewishFamily Service, Lawrence Family JCC y San Diego RabbinicalAssociation, los presentes pudieron escuchar el movilizador discurso de la oradora invitada Heather Maio-Smith, gerente directiva de Conscience Display. Se realizó una ceremonia de encendido de velas simbólica como conmovedor símbolo de la resiliencia y fortaleza de la comunidad judía.
