Rachel Zoe is one of the most influential forces in fashion today. Originally from New Jersey, after completing her degree at George Washington University, Rachel moved to New York City. Starting her career as an assistant at a fashion magazine she was promoted to senior fashion editor within two years. Seeking to diversify her experience, she began to work directly with top pop stars and actresses to create their images.
An avid fan of old Hollywood glamour, Rachel moved to Los Angeles where she could merge the worlds of fashion and Hollywood. Immediately, Rachel made a name for herself amongst celebrities by bringing them the style eras of the 60’s and 70’s. In 2008, “The Rachel Zoe Project” debuted on Bravo and made her a household name.
Most recently, Rachel Zoe partnered with Li & Fung to expand her designs into a full lifestyle retail collection. Visiting Nordstrom in Fashion Valley to show her spring collection she commented to Giving Back Magazine, “I am committed to maintaining my point of view as a stylist by creating pieces that provide affordable glamour that can be mixed, matched and worn together for the perfect wardrobe.”
Rachel is a recipient of numerous prestigious industry awards and known for giving back to various charities among them Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation. Her greatest achievements are her son and husband, Rodger Berman, her business partner and President of Rachel Zoe, Inc.
