A sunny afternoon overlooking the Pacific Ocean served as the backdrop to the Rachel’s Women’s Center benefit concert at the estate of Joan Waitt. Honorary chairs Joan Waitt and Betsy Manchester welcomed guests to a private luncheon and concert by Grammy Award Nominated artist Jewel, who at one time was one of San Diego’s homeless women. All proceeds will help provide humanitarian services and counseling for women who are homeless.
