A Favorite Holiday Tradition
In Southern California, it is a rare sight to see snow falling. That is, everywhere except for at Village Walk at Eastlake. With nightly snowfalls in December up to Christmas, this yearly tradition has been pleasing children young and old for years.
These magical snowfalls happen nightly from December 1 through 24 at both 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The award-winning Eastlake High School Show Choir will perform before and after the first snowfall on December 1 and children will receive free deer antler headbands and magic glasses to watch the snowfall in rainbow colors.
Throughout the holiday season, community carolers will entertain guests with favorite Christmas music between the snowfalls near the Koi Pond at the beautiful shopping center, which features an Italian village ambiance with courtyards, bronze sculptures and merchants. Come for the snowfall and make a night of it with shopping at stores like Spoiled Rotten, Pier 1 Imports and Trader Joe’s or dine at Via Lago Trattoria or Pat & Oscars.
Mark your calendars for the special daytime snowfall on December 8 from 1 – 3 pm at the Annual Family Celebration with Santa and Mrs. Claus featuring free train rides, a roving magician and holiday craft activity for children ages 12 and younger.
Please visit www.ShopVillageWalk.com to enjoy online fun and holiday games including an interactive coloring book, a letter from Santa, and video highlights of the snow.
