Mingei Expansion
Mingei International Museum is a unique part of Balboa Park that is dedicated to furthering the understanding of art of the people (民芸 or “arts of the people”) from all eras and cultures of the world. The museum recently presented the final phase of their 2020 transformation for a new free plaza level, which will include a gallery, store, restaurant and center for learning.
El Museo Internacional Mingei es una parte muy especial del Parque Balboa, dedicado a promover el entendimiento del arte de las personas (民芸 o “arte de las personas”) de todas las épocas y culturas del mundo. Recientemente, el museo presentó la fase final de su transformación 2020, un nuevo nivel con una plaza libre que incluirá una galería, restaurante, boutique y centro de aprendizaje.
