The Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego officially recognized Remarkable Mexicans in an effort to raise awareness of the contributions the Latino community is making in San Diego. In commemoration of Mexican Independence, the awardees and guests celebrated in Balboa Park amongst Mexican music and food.
