Consul General of Mexico Marcela Celorio welcomed the bi-national community to celebrate the 208th Anniversary of Mexico’s Independence at the Institute of the Americas. Guests joined in the celebration with a mariachi performance, Mexican food and Mexican candies. The Consul gave the traditional “Grito” from the balcony and inspired all those in attendance to shout “Viva Mexico!”
