Jewels With A Purpose.
Jewels With A Purpose works tirelessly in assisting non-profit and charitable organizations raise funds through the sales of their beautiful, Italian-made jewelry line as a premier silent auction partner at galas and fundraising events. By donating 20%-50% of all sales to national and local organizations, Jewels with A Purpose has been raising significant and much appreciated funds for over a decade.
Eliza Friedman founded Jewels With A Purpose in 2005, after immigrating to the United States from Romania. She has combined her love of designing stunning and affordable jewelry with her philanthropic passion of helping causes that assist children, women, seniors, medical research and our animal friends. By fulfilling a very specific niche in the fundraising marketplace, Eliza has partnered year after year with over 65 national organizations such as: Ronald McDonald House, Susan G. Komen, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, Autism Foundation, ALS-Muscular Dystrophy Association, Humane Society, Junior League, and many, many more!
Eliza designs each piece, finding her inspiration from the latest fashion trends. Made of quality materials and affordably priced ($30-$200), the jewels are exclusively created to raise funds for charitable organizations. Beautiful and trendy, it brings life to any silent auction and creates a buzz, where patrons can touch and feel the jewels and they get excited!
“I was drawn into helping organizations raise money because I have watched the economy take a toll on nearly each household around the world, which translates into smaller donations to charitable causes and therefore less money for research. I wanted to step in and help, hoping that I can make a positive impact. Giving a little bit each day, can add to a whole lot!” Eliza tells Giving Back Magazine.
Eliza was raised in an altruistic environment and encouraged to always help others. Her role model is her late father, a visionary and forward thinker, who made a huge difference in the community! Now partnered with her like-minded husband Scott Friedman, they are focused on making a difference in people’s lives and teaching their three children to be kind and generous!
