A sold out gala brought together supports for the 5th annual KPBS Celebrates! in La Jolla. National Public Radio’s Morning Edition host David Greene was the special guest as the spectacular event took guests on a cultural trip to Japan, India and Brazil. A fantastic spectrum of silent auction items were up for bid as the yearly event also serves as a fundraiser for the station’s mission. In addition, long-time contributor Ken Kramer as well as the Beyster Family were inducted into the KPBS Hall of Fame for their dedication and commitment in helping bring quality programming to the region.
