Kids Helping Kids
The Youth Philanthropy Council hosted its second annual holiday shoe giveaway. Working all year long, they collected over 13,000 pairs of new shoes and gave them away to San Diego families in need for free. The Youth Philanthropy Council (YPC) is a nonprofit organization by a small group of San Diego high schoolers with the mission of kids helping kids. The event was such a success that the line for shoes wrapped around the block three times- but the good news- everyone got the shoes they needed. Congrats!
El Youth Philantropic Council llevó a cabo su segunda entrega anual de zapatos en la temporada de fiestas. Trabajando todo el año, lograron recolectar 13,000 pares de zapatos nuevos que fueron entregados a familias necesitadas de San Diego. El Youth Philantropic Counil (YPC) es una organización sin fines de lucro formada por un grupo reducido de jóvenes de secundaria que quieren ayudar a otros jóvenes. El evento fue tan exitoso que la fila para recibir zapatos daba tres vueltas a la cuadra, con las buenas noticias de que todos recibieron lo que necesitaban. ¡Felicitaciones!
