K9 Soiree
An inspiring and fun evening was celebrated in honor of America’s Finest K9 Unit. For the first time ever, SDPD awarded the prestigious Purple Heart award to police service dog Titan, who was injured in the line of duty earlier this year. Funds raised at the event support the funding of police dogs and the needs of the K9 Unit, as well as other funding priorities to move forward the mission of the San Diego Police Foundation and create a safer San Diego.
Una inspiradora velada se celebró en honor de una de las mejores unidades de K9, donde el SDPD premió con el prestigioso Purple Heart al perro policía en actividad Titán, que lamentablemente fue herido a principios de este año mientras prestaba servicios. Los fondos recaudados por el evento apoyan el trabajo de los perros de la policía y las necesidades de la Unidad K9 y también colaboran con otras urgencias de la San Diego Police Foundation, todo con el fin de crear un San Diego más seguro.
