Next to Walt Disney, music composer John Williams is the Academy Award’s second-most nominated person in history. With five Oscars and a spectrum of other accolades that have spanned over sixty years, the revered conductor and pianist continues his legacy as one of the greatest film composers of all time. If you have seen a Spielberg production or a Harry Potter movie you have heard Williams’ work and this month he is donating his talent in support of keeping classical music thriving in San Diego. The Maestro of the Movies will be accompanied by acclaimed cellist Johannes Moser to perform a suite of film favorites.
