Giving Back Magazine is proud to have been invited to the national celebrations of Hispanic Heritage Month in Washington, D.C.. Southwest Airlines is one of the major sponsors for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute whose scholarship program provides critical assistance to Latino college students. At the gala, Vice President Biden spoke to the guests including Mayor of San Antonio Julian Castro, Resident Commissioner of Puerto Rico Pedro Pierluisi, Congresswoman Lucille Roybal-Allard and many more. Entertainment included George Lopez, DJ Taboo from The Black Eyed Peas and War.
