A perfect round was played by Champions for Health, formerly San Diego County Medical Society Foundation, during their annual benefit golf tournament and award reception. Nearly $100,000 was raised aiding the organization’s Project Access program. This year’s competition also included tennis matches with professionals and afterwards, everyone enjoyed the late afternoon with drinks and food while applauding the efforts of the Health Heroes Awards recipients for their volunteerism. Champions for Health continues telling the story of the region’s physicians to improve the community’s health and changing lives.
