Thanksgiving is a time to recognize the blessings in your life. From family, to health, to making a difference, learn what our community leaders are thankful for this holiday season.
I am thankful to the incredible people that we get to serve on a daily basis. We are privileged to fly several of San Diego’s most respected business leaders and philanthropists and have had relationships with many of them for over 15 or 20 years. It is very rewarding for us; we are honored to have earned their trust. It is because of these long term relationships that we get to continue doing what we love to do and make a difference in the community.

First and foremost, I am thankful for my health and for my wonderful family. I am thankful to be able to give back to my community and help better lives and all of the opportunities I have so I am able to make a difference in our community. I am blessed to have friends who share the same values and wishes that I have.

At this time of reflection, I am most thankful for those who have paved the way for where I am today. That includes my family, teachers and musicians who helped form me artistically and colleagues and leaders from whom I have learned. I am particularly grateful to all of the prior leaders of San Diego Opera, who created such a wonderful institution with a deep commitment to high artistic quality.

I am most thankful for my loving and supportive husband, Jeff, and the marriage we have created together. I am grateful for my two step boys, Brett and Mike, for teaching me that love is abundant. I am blessed to work with volunteers who with a gracious heart give of their time which reminds me to live with such grace. I am thankful for all the blessings in my life.
