Born in Sinaloa, Mexico, Gilda Garza is an incredible artist. Inspired by her mother and grandmother who were also artists, Gilda started painting at a young age. With a rapidly growing following and having her artwork featured on the first painted cover of Playboy Magazine since Andy Warhol’s 1986 work, 2018 was a fantastic year for her. Gilda is known for being the first artist to have an art exhibition on the Las Vegas strip. Gilda has also had her artwork featured on Roberto Cavalli clothing. She has since shown various collections in the Caesars Palace Hotel.

The future also seems bright for Gilda. This year, she is preparing for collaborations with one of the largest wineries in Napa Valley, California, as well as exhibitions in Venice and Rome. 7:30 a.m.Rise & Shine

Gilda wakes up and has a cup of coffee first thing. For breakfast, she typically eats fruits, yogurt, eggs and green juice.

8:30 a.m. Work Out

While she often enjoys going to the gym, she also goes on morning runs. For Gilda, morning runs are special because she gets to start her day full of energy and this is when all her ideas and inspirations come to her.

10:00 a.m. Painting

Gilda spends most of her time painting and is constantly striving to find new ways to test her technique to make amazing new pieces. Her work is inspired by what she has experienced in life, the beauty of which is reflected in her completed canvases, she uses her paintings to express her emotions.

1:30 p.m. Lunch break

Usually, Gilda eats at home. For lunch, she has salmon or chicken with a salad and brown rice.

2:00 p.m. Afternoon activities

After lunch, Gilda typically returns to painting. Sometimes she also uses this time to focus on herself, which she thinks is important to maintaining a healthy mind. One of her best mental health tips for success is to surround yourself with positive people so that you can motivate each other.

However, she sometimes heads out for the afternoon instead. On these days, you might find her running in Seaport Village or walking through downtown. In her free time, she also enjoys going to Coronado and the beaches.
