Dedicated to the improvement of the community are the committee members of Fundacion Luz among them, the representatives Gabriela Ortiz, Ita Hirales de Vaca, Margarita Camarena and Yolian Torres whose goal it is to raise funds for the project Cuidad de Luz. Cuidad de Luz is a home for orphan adolescents who at a young age were kicked out of their homes without knowing the tools to survive.
Cuidad de Luz, will have classrooms to teach careers, an art center and specialists in emotional, spiritual and psychological growth. The group comments to Giving Back Magazine, “We need Tijuana and San Diego to be aware of this cause and recognize that all help, in any form, is welcomed and very much appreciated.”
