Internationally renowned Francis Parker School in San Diego offers a variety of programs to keep students’ brains in the fast lane during the summer months. The Summer Program seeks to inspire, challenge, empower and enrich young minds in the classroom, in the arts and in athletics.
Francis Parker School’s Summer Program parallels and builds on the integral notion of “inspiring excellence”. For children in junior kindergarten through grade 12, Francis Parker’s Summer Program offers a wide array of learning opportunities in the classroom and beyond with a focus on enrichment and advancement.
The classes offered include the traditional favorites but also include unique and exciting programs that would delight any child for example: Destination: Space Camp (including a trip to the Space Center in Huntsville, Alabama); a genealogy course entitled Who Do You Think You Are?, Survive: Self Defense Training, Dancing Through San Diego, A Choreography Workshop, The Science of Superheroes. Cheerleading Prep: Acrobatics, Gymnastics & Aerobics and Fencing: Learning Sword Skills have been added to an already extensive list of sports opportunities.
Whether to get ahead for next year, learn something new or keep children busy in the summer months, Francis Parker School’s Summer Programs have something for every child of every age. 2010 Parker Summer Program sessions start June 21 with three sessions throughout the summer.
