The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s 2013 gala fundraiser, Foodtasia: A Fantasy of Food and Fun, will take place at the Food Bank’s warehouse facility located in Miramar on Saturday, June 8, 2013. The Food Bank’s 72,000 sq. ft. warehouse will be transformed into a one-of-a-kind venue for an evening of fine dining, fun and revelry in support of the Food Bank’s programs. This venue enables the Food Bank to showcase its operations while hosting an exciting evening of food, dancing and live entertainment.
This spectacular event is being chaired by Lisa Busalacchi, with honorary co-chairs Mitch and Rebecca Mitchell, whose incredible vision will make the evening an absolute fantasy of food and entertainment. Guests can expect to be treated to a culinary extravaganza. The evening will begin with a reception followed by a festival for the senses, including the preparation of signature dishes from celebrated San Diego chefs followed by a lively auction and entertainment by local band sensation NRG.
The Food Bank invites you to join in the fight against hunger by joining them at the Foodtasia Gala to benefit the Food Bank’s hunger-relief programs, including the Food 4 Kids Backpack Program. Tickets for Foodtasia are $250 each, and sponsorship packages start at $2,500 for a table of ten. Those purchasing early bird tickets before April 15 will be eligible for an exclusive pre-party event. Viejas is the title sponsor and USFoods will be an event sponsor.
