The Consulate General of Mexico in San Diego and the Institute of the Americas hosted a lively evening with traditional Mexican foods, candies entertainment- even tequila tastings! The cause for this celebration was Mexican Independence Day, when Mexico gained independence from Spain in 1821. ¡Viva México!
