Recently unveiled, Fernando Botero’s latest exhibition the Via Crucis, or Stations of the Cross, gave his admirers a lot to think about. The series of paintings featured classically recognized scenes and religious concepts with a modern twist. The thoughtful pieces on exhibit at the Cecut in Tijuana brought to light his artistic view on the state of religion through time and its place in our society today.
