La Feria del Libro was founded in 1980 by bookseller’s guild of the city of Tijuana. Over the years the Fair has been dedicated to different themes, but this edition of the Fair will be dedicated to the three pillars of the world of literature; Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Miguel de Cervantes and William Shakespeare.
They were selected for their anniversaries, and for the representation of their English writings in United States, Spain and Mexico. From May 13 to 22 the Fair will take place at Cecut Tijuana hosting various workshops and presentations from authors. For more than one week, book readers will enjoy local cuisine, shopping for books and music, art and cinema. Feria del Libro of Tijuana is a Festival that unites the literature of the border and should not be missed.
