The Angels of Aseltine, the fundraising auxiliary for San Diego’s Aseltine School, trod a fresh path with their biannual event with “Fashion Through the Ages : A Tribute to Downton Abbey.” The luncheon and show took place in Mission Valley. Eight models, each representing a local non-profit paraded in costumes that evoked characters from the popular PBS drama, Downton Abbey. All funds went to nurture and engage San Diego’s K-12 students whose needs are not met in traditional school settings.
