Dr. Robert Gramins and Dr. Albert Lin value the importance of creating strong relationships with their patients while striving for the highest quality medical care. Founding La Jolla Oral and Facial Surgery in the heart of La Jolla, they strive to be the most respected and innovative oral, implant and facial cosmetic surgery practice in the region.
Maxillofacial surgery requires several additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Gramins and Dr. Lin manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. They practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective jaw surgery.
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon is the specialist who is fully trained in the proper treatment of facial injuries. Experienced in emergency care, acute treatment and long-term reconstruction and rehabilitation – not just for physical reasons but emotional as well. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are trained, skilled and uniquely qualified to manage and treat facial trauma. Injuries to the face, by their very nature, impart a high degree of emotional, as well as physical trauma to patients.
MEET THE DOCTORS
Dr. Gramins graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and from Loyola University Medical Center for his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. Dr. Gramins is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Board Certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is one of a select group of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons who are licensed by the State of California to perform cosmetic facial procedures.
Dr. Lin received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Illinois in Chicago and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency was completed at Northwestern University Medical Center. Board Certified as a Diplomate by ABOMS (American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and a Fellow in AAOMS (American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons) and elected by his peers to serve as President of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons for the upcoming year.
