Returns for a Second Year

After a hugely successful inaugural year in 2022, the Coronado Art & Wine Festival is returning to the island for its second year on Saturday, May 13th from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Join the Coronado Schools Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce at the corner of 10th Street & Orange Avenue in the heart of the village as they host this family-friendly event to celebrate the arts, all while raising money to support STEM & Arts funding for public schools.

This year promises to be bigger and better than ever with over 75 local and international artists, three separate wine areas, samples from the best local eateries, live music on the main stage, including local bands and student performances, an art auction, and an interactive youth art area. It is an event that promises to be fun for the entire family!

“The goal of this event is to highlight the amazing art coming from the K-12 schools in Coronado,” Michelle Gilmore, CEO & President of CSF shared with GB Magazine. “Bringing our student artists and the community artists together with local bites and wine tasting on the side, it just doesn’t get any better than that!”

For the adults, there are three different wine areas to choose from, including a VIP Experience, a Wine Village, plus the new Rosé & Bubbles Lounge. Each wine area will have delicious light bites provided by some of Coronado’s favorite establishments to pair with the delicious tastings from California and Valle wineries.

Coming with the kids? Get ready for Mother’s Day with a free craft, buy some blooms for Mom from the flower wall, enjoy the Kid-topia art area highlighting art and STEM activities, and then snag a picnic basket for purchase and listen to the live music.

Reserve your spot today! Artists are invited to submit their applications until March 31st. More information on hosting a booth, sponsoring the event or having your wine included can be found at www.coronadoartandwinefestival.com.
