MasterChef Winner Claudia Sandoval.

The recently crowned Winner of the Fox television show, “MasterChef,” Claudia Sandoval, has a dual passion – cooking elevated Mexican cuisine and helping others to succeed.

Despite earning the coveted MasterChef trophy, a $250,000 prize, and a deal to pen her own cookbook, Claudia is very grounded in the values she learned from her parents. As she tweeted following her MasterChef win, “En la vida nada es dado, se es merecido. Con empeño, corazón, y mucho desempeño todo se puede,” which translates as “In life, nothing is given, it is earned. With hard work, heart and dedication, everything is possible.”

Claudia wants to support transitioning foster youth in their quest to discover their passion and strengths, earn their way, and fulfill their dreams. Which is why she’s donating a dinner for 8 as a live auction item at Just in Time’s annual celebration and fundraiser.

In fact, over 400 people will be coming together to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of over 75 Just in Time participants who will be providing the entertainment and the message of the evening.
