The New Children’s Museum decided to forgo its traditional gala and focus its efforts on securing funding for its free access programs. The Benefactor Challenge was a fundraising effort to raise $500,000 to fund access for nearly one-third of the Museum’s visitors. The Museum hosted a celebratory dinner for its donors to thank those who had made this fundraiser a success.
