Many people do not know that the Caesar Salad was actually invented by Caesar Cardini in Tijuana in 1924. To celebrate this, the city of Tijuana has been celebrating with a Caesar Salad Festival for many years with a festival. The day’s celebration featured local musicians, art and gourmet cuisine as well as many variations on the original salad.
