Two million girls drop out of school each year due to the lack of toilets in schools. Young girls are forced into marriages, work in menial jobs and remain illiterate and impoverished. The San Diego Downtown Breakfast Rotary Club, collaborating with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore in India, will construct 10-12 Toilet Blocks in rural schools benefiting 12,000 children immediately and generations thereafter.
