Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego commissioned a new Research Vessel (R/V) Bob and Betty Beysterat the Nimitz Marine Facility in Point Loma. The new vessel arrived thanks to a philanthropic initiative that raised more than $1.2 millionin honor of the late Dr. J. Robert Beyster, founder of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), and Betty Beyster, both dear friends of the community.
Scripps Institution de Oceanografía de UC San Diego encargó un nuevo buque de investigación (R /V) Bob y Betty Beyster a las instalaciones marinas de Nimitz de Point Loma. Esta nueva nave llegó gracias a la iniciativa filantrópica que recaudó más de $ 1.2 millones en honor del fallecido Dr. J.
