Since 1961, Mission Federal Credit Union has been dedicated to strengthening, enriching and improving our communities. Their belief in giving back lives on through their partnerships with schools and over 200 nonprofit organizations directly committed to a healthier, stronger, vibrant and resilient San Diego County.

You will not only find them at 31 branch locations throughout San Diego County ready to serve your financial needs, you will also see their ongoing drive to make San Diego not just America’s Finest City, but “America’s Kindest Region” focusing on a variety of targeted efforts, including:

  • Art Appreciation: through sponsorship of the San Diego Museum Council’s Kids Free in October, over 20,000 children have opportunities to experience 43 local art, cultural and science museums.
  • Educational Support: Through the McGrath Family JA BizTown for elementary school students and Mission Fed JA Finance Park for high school students, youth have an opportunity to discover a place where they can imagine who they want to be, receive hands-on tools to plan for a financially secure future.
  • Children’s Wellbeing: as part of the Hunger Awareness Month campaign, Mission Fed supports the Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank’s Food 4 Kids Backpack program and the fight against child hunger provides 5200 additional backpacks full of food to feed a child all weekend long.
  • Environmental Preservation: Mission Fed’s longtime sponsorship of the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park’s Kids Free in October provides over 160,000 children ages 11 and under with a fun day to learn about animal care and conservation science.

Their more than 237,000 members and over 540 team members understand that communities work best when they work together.
