America’s space history took center stage during the San Diego Air & Space Museum’s celebration of the 45th anniversary of the Apollo 13 mission. This exclusive event gave a chance to supporters to meet the surviving astronauts of the almost tragic 1970 voyage to the moon. Key people who worked back on Earth to help the trio arrive safely were also present as well as other space professionals involved in programs such as Mercury, Gemini and Apollo. As part of the celebration honoring the ingenuity, risks, and triumphs from America’s heroes and space history, guests enjoyed a superb dinner and cocktails to finish the night’s activities.
