San Diego Opera celebrated the renewed commitment to presenting Spanish-language opera – which includes Florencia En El Amazonas and Maria De Buenos Aires, and will continue for many seasons to come, most notably with the world-premiere co-commission of The Last Dream Of Frida And Diego in 2020. A reception and live performance was held to preview Florencia and to celebrate the future of Spanish-language opera in our community.
