2007
10 years ago, Danitza and Esteban Villanueva brought their two minds together to launch the world’s only binational, bilingual magazine.
2008
Philanthropy has always been part of our mission and our Keys for a Cause event at Tiffany & Co. was our first event in San Diego raising monies for a Tijuana charity. Our work in the region was recognized by the Office of the Governor of California and we were invited to the Border Governors’ Conference. We’ll be back.
2009
The up-until-then boyfriend-girlfriend Magazine Publishers Danitza and Esteban got married! They were honored to share the photos with readers.
2010
Bi-Lingual, Bi-National, Multi-Cultural and with Global reach, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco visits the region.
2011
The Ten Fashionable photoshoot sets the standard for elegance as the most stylish women in the region are assembled for a one of a kind photo.
2012
Giving Back Magazine is invited into the homes of the leaders of the community as we share their lives with you. This year, we also launched Giving Back Magazine’s sister publication, a pet’s life magazine which shares the stories of the lives of San Diego’s pets.
2013
Giving Back Magazine continues to produce and partner with the leading events for the affluent Hispanic and philanthropic communities. Our Hollywood side shines through with world premieres and Galas throughout the country.
2014
Unparalleled philanthropic events as only Giving Back Magazine can present become the hottest ticket in town bringing Hispanic philanthropy and our binational region to the forefront.
2015
The most iconic leaders of the region regularly appear on the cover of our magazine supporting a variety of the most respected causes.
2016
Through her work with Giving Back Magazine, Danitza Villanueva has become a champion of causes of empowerment. Her causes of empowerment of women, promotion of Latinas in business, and Statewide representation of Hispanas in the political process have propelled her into the spotlight.
