2015 will celebrate the 106th Anniversary Charity Ball. The Charity Ball has had an important and consistent place in the philanthropic fabric of San Diego since 1909. This year’s Ball, The Magic of Miracles, will be held on January 31, 2015 at the historic Hotel del Coronado.
The proceeds from this Magical evening will help support the Neuro-Oncology Program at Rady Children’s Hospital. Pediatric brain tumors are the leading cause of death among all children diagnosed with cancer; Rady Children’s Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Program is the San Diego region’s only provider of comprehensive care for children with brain and spinal cord tumors. Rady Children’s is at the forefront of Research dedicated to developing more effective therapies.
The Magic of Miracles will be an exciting, elegant and fun-filled evening. Guests will dine in the extraordinary Crown Room and be entertained in the elegant Hotel del Coronado Grand Ballroom with miraculous feats of magic and an incredible band. Gourmet food, fine wines and champagne will delight their palates, what a lovely way to support an important cause.
The Charity Ball draws on an amazing array of all ages! Over the years, so many of the most influential names in San Diego have supported Rady Children’s Hospital by attending the Ball, and now their children and friends are discovering the fun and excitement of attending. The evening is a vibrant mix of great food, wonderful entertainment and dancing.
