Founded over 35 years ago, Promises2Kids has responded to the needs of foster children and supported children removed from their home due to abuse and neglect. Annually, Promises2Kids provides over 3,000 current and former foster youth with the tools, opportunities and guidance they need to address the circumstances that brought them into foster care, overcome their past and grow into healthy, happy and successful adults. Raegan & Kevin Prior are the presenting sponsors of this year’s Promises2Kids Dream on Concert Gala which raises funds to create a brighter future for foster children.

10 Things About Raegan Prior & Promises2Kids

#1 I grew up in San Diego – specifically Bay Park about 10 minutes from Pacific Beach.

#2 My first job was at a yogurt shop when I was 15 years old.

#3 My favorite restaurant is Born and Raised in Little Italy. Every dining experience I have had there has been amazing! Fabulous service, beautiful ambience and the food has always been delicious!

#4 “Daring Greatly” by Brené Brown is my favorite book

#5 My favorite movie is “Clueless”, LOL!

#6 I have two dogs and I consider them additional children.

#7 Luck is where preparation meets opportunity and I want to help provide opportunities to those who are deserving. There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lightening others up!

#8 I became a mentor almost a year ago and it has been such a wonderful experience! I am not sure why I waited so long. My mentee has become like a little sister. We have really bonded, and I look forward to our continued friendship/relationship through the coming years. We enjoy doing all types of activities together and take full advantage of the time we get to spend together. It’s such an easy way to give back… it feels good to be there for someone so deserving!

#9 Promises2Kids serves all foster children in our community, ensuring that through our programs and support, each child feels they matter, are loved and can accomplish anything with the support of the Promises2Kids family. We are 100% philanthropy funded and rely on individual donations and our fundraising events like the Dream On Concert and Fore Kids Golf Tournament to support our children.
