Ushuaia’s name comes from the language of the yámanas tribe, its original inhabitants, and means “bay that penetrates westward.”

Land of 10,000 Lakes.

As the last days of summer approach, we found ourselves stricken with the desire to explore Minnesota. Our adventure took us to the cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul which offer an endless array of outdoor activities, wineries and breweries boasting deliciously crafted beverages, as well as shopping at the largest mall in the USA, Mall of America. Minnesota’s 11,842 lakes offer more shoreline than Florida, California, and Hawaii combined.

As of April, Southwest Airlines now flies direct daily to Los Cabos from San Diego, marking the airline’s first nonstop service between Lindbergh Field and Los Cabos. To mark the celebration, our Co-Publishers Danitza and Esteban Villanueva alongside Manager, Corporate Community Affairs Lidia S. Martinez and a group of community leaders consisting of Lauree Sabha, Ben Clay, Linda Katz, David and Espie Bejerano flew on the inaugural Southwest Airlines direct flight. An incredible experience with one-stop check-in and a quick 2-hour flight, our travel to the destination was seamless.

We ventured off to Wyoming to experience the untamed spirit of the West and majestic natural beauty of our great country. And it just so happens, Wyoming is home to both the first National Park, Yellowstone and the first National Monument, Devils Tower.
