The National Park Service turned 100 this year and we joined in the year-long celebration by visiting and discovering several National Parks. We ventured off to Wyoming to experience the untamed spirit of the West and majestic natural beauty of our great country. And it just so happens, Wyoming is home to both the first National Park, Yellowstone and the first National Monument, Devils Tower.

The Temecula Valley Wineries are recognized as the “Jewel” of Southern California. The planting of these wineries began in 1968, where the first wines produced were from Brookside in their Cucamonga Winery. In 1974, Callaway Winery marked the beginning of winemaking in the Temecula Valley. Due to the local micro-climate, the valley produces some of the finest wine and wine grapes in the world including cool climate grapes such as Riesling, moderate climate Bordeaux varieties and warmer climate Mediterranean varieties including Syrah.
