Salk Women & Science is an ongoing program that engages women in the community with leaders in biological science and technology. Their recent program featured The Power of Plants: Climate, Nutrition and Global Stability. Plant science is needed more today than ever before to help meet the demands of a rapidly growing human population. The program was followed by a ceremony recognizing the Salk Women & Science 2018 Special Awards recipients and concluded with a reception.
