The San Diego Master Chorale presented a unique concert event at a capacity Copley Symphony Hall featuring a group of 125 of San Diego's finest singers, the Grammy Award winning Romero Duo and a variety of other performers presenting music from Latin America and Spain. As "The Voice of San Diego," The Master Chorale is committed to promoting and preserving the art of choral music through performance, education, and diverse community outreach and regularly appearances with the San Diego Symphony and the San Diego Chamber Orchestra.

The International Children's Cancer Foundation is a non-profit charity of San Diego created to support the Oncologic Pediatric Center in Tijuana. The organization supports pediatric cancer treatment center that treats the poorest of children with cancer in Baja California. Their first annual benefit dinner titled Wonders of Baja was held in a beautiful home in La Jolla bringing together 14 artists for the art auction, 4 wineries and 5 chefs from Baja. Tania Luviano was the mistress of ceremonies for the dinner attended by over three hundred people.
Food, fashion show and mingling amongst friends were among the many things which took place at The Grand Hotel in Tijuana with the purpose to raise funds and present fashion from the season. Veronica Bustamante organized a grand event where many women from Tijuana modeled high-end clothing all for a good cause.

San Diego oldest charity, The San Diego Center for Children, held its 123rd anniversary celebration fundraiser at the US Grant Hotel. The organization is dedicated to helping children whose trauma, abuse, emotional challenges or mental health issues delayed their educational or community success. Gala chairs Elizabeth Oliver and Doreen Schonbrun organized live and silent auctions as well as a festive evening to help the children.
Every year beautiful girls from Northern Baja California compete to become Queen of Monterrey Institute of Technology to raise funds for scholarships. One of the many events they produce was at the home of Maria Elvia Hank where a grandiose luncheon amongst friends, family and supporters. The previous Queen from Tijuana as well as this year's princess were in attendance.
