Miriam and David Smotrich opened up their home to celebrate Kingsley Romande's first birthday with a grand party. Proud fathers Steve and Rex Romande were elated as friends and family celebrated in a lovely pink themes afternoon filled with champagne, sweets and cakes.
Important Latino judges and lawyers from the San Diego region came together at the home of Pablo Palomino for La Raza's annual party. Guests enjoyed catching up with old friends with the purpose of raising funds for scholarships for Latino law students. Guests also had the opportunity to view unique art pieces from Memo Cavada.
Guests of Mainly Mozart travelled back in time to the romantic eighteenth century to celebrate Mozart's travels through Italy. They ascended to the Westgate Hotel where they enjoyed a splendid assortment of auction displays. They went on to slip into the Versailles Room for a classical music interlude by the Aiana String Quartet, and savor Italian cuisine in the elegant Fontainebleau Ristorante.
Board Members and friends of Malashock Dance celebrated the start of a new year by welcoming the new board members with a wine and hors d'oeuvres party in Little Italy. Malashock welcomed publisher of GB Magazine, Danitza Villanueva and media maven, Yolanda S. Walther-Meade to the board of directors. Throughout the year, Malashock Dance advances the art of dance by creating original works and sharing dance programs that enhance children's lives.
Melero Boutique partnered with Modul Studio and Toke for a festive party and fashion show featuring fashions from Melero's fall and winter collections. Guests enjoyed a special trunk show featuring Lorenza Gandaglia's Italian hand made bags as well the latest furniture and home accessories from Toke and customized kitchens from Modul Studio.
This year on KPBS, the American television drama, Masterpiece celebrates its fortieth anniversary making it America's longest-running weekly primetime drama series. In honor of this milestone anniversary a trust has been established to help insure Masterpiece continues to warm the hearts of audiences for years to come. Supporters and friends of KPBS joined for a cocktail reception and had the opportunity to meet the producer of the show, Rebecca Eaton.
President Andrene Dziubinski and fellow Beach and Country Guild members celebrated with a yearend party at the lovely home of Colleen Clayton. Members arrived fashionably dressed with a bottle of wine to share and unique dishes at the celebration. The event was to raise money for their unique toy library for sick children. Annually The Beach and Country Guild members produce events to benefit United Cerebral Palsy in San Diego.
