Because Art Education Matters Deeply To Us

The Old Globe Theatre "cultivates imagination and empathy, enriching our humanity and connecting us to each other by bringing us entertaining experiences, new ideas, and a wide range of stories told from many perspectives". To help the Old Globe fulfill their mission, longtime supporter Sheryl White is once again co-chairing the Globe's annual Gala.

#2 At 16, I got a job as a sales person at Kinney Shoes in El Cajon. In 2014, I invented a product called Grasswalkers that helps women walk on grass while wearing heels so they don't sink. Profits from the sales go to Arts Education for kids.

#5 25 years ago, I was working at First Interstate Bank as the Manager of the Laurel Street Office - which is now a high rise! I grew up going to the Globe and now I was working right down the Laurel street bridge from it. I asked the Bank if they would sponsor me to be on the Board. They agreed!
